White lump: Might be a benign tonsil stone.  However any and all white lesions in the oral cavity should be evaluated.  Please see your General Physician, your General Dentist, or a specialist ENT for evaluation.

6 weeks agao i had bacterial sinusitis and left swollen tonsil i was given penicillin and the swelling went away however the lump behind the tonsil flap still remains-normal in colour. causes?

Please clarify: Not sure hat you are asking. But if your symptoms are resolved, and there is still a small lump behind the tonsil, then keep your followup visits with your doctor who can monitor you. If that lump is an abcess, that would be a problem that your doctor can identify and treat.

Peritonsillar absces: A peritonsillar abscess is a formation of pus and infection around a tonsil.  It can be extremely painful and cause problems with swallowing and breathing.  It requires emergent evaluation and management by a trained physician.

Tonsil lump, ulcer: It would be helpful to know how old you are?  If you smoke or drink?  Smokers and drinkers have greater chances of having problems.  You probably have Tonsilliths on the tonsils.  (Food debris pockets).  The ulcer behind the molar could be a virus or a tooth infection if you have a tooth there or retained parts of teeth.  Have someone check out these areas of concern soon to put yourself at ease.

my left tonsil has been swollen for 6 days i've been taking penicillin v past 48 hrs. swelling has reduced theres still a lump behind it & if i push it with my tongue it leaks will this need draining?

Possibly: Take your Penicillin! I suggest you consult with an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist!
