Unlikely: usually, LPR / GERD are associated obesity. And obesity is ALSO associated with sleep apnea.
In fact, it  is likely that sleep apnea itself lead to LPR and silent reflux.
So if you have any symptoms of sleep apnea, even independent of LPR , you may want to have yourself checked out for sleep apnea.

LPR.: LPR can lead to symptoms that mimic asthma and allergic rhinitis.  And being that LPR/GERD can affect us more at night, they can disrupt your sleep.

Multiple symptoms: Lpr or laryngopharyngeal reflux disease is caused by acid travelling all the way up to the throat.  Often you will feel like there is a ball in the back of the throat.  You can also experience burning, tickling, excessive mucous production, throat clearing, cough, hoarseness, and difficulty swallowing.  I see you go by "musicalmd".  You can also lose your upper range & need prolonged vocal warmup.

4. Sleep hygiene training
5. Avoidance of sleeping on your back

However, it can be a central process, where the respiratory center of the brain fails to signal the respiratory respiratory system to initiate a breath. Lastly, some apnea is mixed central and obstructive in nature.

Depending on training neurologists or pulmonoligists may be conducting sleep study to properly diagnose this problem.

No, not by itself: Average person stops breathing/obstructs up to 5 times per hour. Mild apnea is 5-15 x per hour; moderate &gt;15; and severe &gt;30. You are proper age. If other risk factors or symptoms present, seek referral from your pcp for sleep study to determine status.
