what organs are on the lower left side of my abdomen? when i lay down i can feel some lumps that feel like organs. doesnt hurt, im just concerned. i dont feel anything on my right side. i am also very skinny if that has anything to do with it?

Can give Dr a call: Lower abdomen has abdominal wall muscles, part of the large intestine (colon), ureters from the kidneys to the bladder, part of the small intestine, ovaries (lower down), etc...  In a college-aged person, lumps such as tumors are rare. A common cause of left lower abdominal lumps is a collection of poop due to constipation. If a person takes a laxative and poops out, maybe the lumps vanish.

Very few: Your descending and sigmoid colon. Your left oviduct and ovary, if you were a woman. Depending on whether or not there are large fibroids, or a baby, the uterus may sit in the left lower quadrant.

for a couple days, ive been having muscle spasms/twitches in my lower right abdomen. feels like my organs are jumping around in there. dangerous?

Probably not: Muscles can twitch for all kinds of reasons.  Your organs are not jumping around.  Be sure you are eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, for magnesium and potassium, and try not to worry about this, it will probably pass.

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Unclear question: More than 80% of Hep B infections resolve without lasting damage to the liver. You need to be tested for presence of active Hep B infection, your doctor would know which tests to order. It is not feasible to ascertain the cause of pain without examining you and that is all the more reason for you to see a doctor.

can metformin cause lower abdominal pain.but i stopped using it bc of the side effects.i had an upset stomach for weeks.so i stopped it maybe a month ago.i suffer from pain and i'm uncomfortable sometimes.can it be inflamation or damaged organs?help?

: If you stopped the metformin a month ago and you are still having the discomfort, it is unlikely to be due to metformin. The only way to find out what your abdominal pain is from is to see a doctor. You need to be examined and then have whatever tests your doctor thinks will help to diagnose the cause of your symptoms. Ovarian cysts: The left ovarian cyst seen on the ultrasound could cause your left abdominal pain. Depending on the size, they are often observed and can resolve over time. In your age group, other causes are less common. If this pain persists, a further workup is needed. If everything is negative, then you should discuss treating this cyst to see if the pain resolves.

Need more info: Lower abdominal pain is not specific. Neither is a ct scan. A ct can miss polyps and other things inside the intestine. If pain persists, you ; your doctors may get more info from endoscopy, barium enema, us or MRI or various other tests.
