If you stopped the metformin a month ago and you are still having the discomfort, it is unlikely to be due to metformin. The only way to find out what your abdominal pain is from is to see a doctor. You need to be examined and then have whatever tests your doctor thinks will help to diagnose the cause of your symptoms. Once a diagnosis is made, treatment can be given. Good luck-feel better soon!!
