Urine problem: You need a urine culture done since sometimes a urinary infection may not show pus, but only shows microscopic blood. Also consider prostatitis and prostate cancer causing blood in urine and obstructing urine outflow. See a doctor right away.

after a month of open acute appendix opt. the pain persists in my lower right abdomen.yesterday's usg reports are also absolutely normal.plz help?

See the surgeon: This could be post-op pain because of scar tissue. If pain persist you should go back to see the surgeon who did the surgery on you.

hida scan normal...ct scan of abdomen, and, pelvis normal. ..full abdominal ultrasound normal. ..i am still having bad pains what could it be if these .are normal? most all my blood ttests are normal 2.

Reflux?: Without getting a full history and physical, i'm not sure - but there are many causes of abdominal pain!  an ulcer or gastroesophageal reflux disease could be causing burning pain - for either one, try taking a daily antacid (omeprazole for instance) for a month.   If that doesn't help, you might need more testing!

curious why last month i had abdominal ultrasound sound and they found nothing on my kidneys and yesterday had ct if abdomen and they see a 6mm solid mass that lit up? ask saw 3mm lung nodule lower lobe of lung but dr didnt mention that?

: CT scan provides more details than an ultrasound and an MRI can provide even greater detail. You should discuss it with your doctor who knows more about your health than is feasible in this forum.

can an abdominal ultrasound detect ovarian cyst/cancer? had ultrasound bec of lower right abdomen pain, only found 4mm gallbladder stone and cystitis but doctor said those are not the cause of pain. ref me to an ob but have yet to set an appointment?

: Abdominal ultrasounds might be limited to the area requested by the ordering doctor. It may also be more general and look at all abdominal structures. I assume most general studies would include the ovaries/uterus/kidneys/liver but there may be a difference in your country on what is included. Cancer would not be high on the list on what would be suspected at your age.

hi.. am 22 yrs male i started putting on wait. fat is accumulating more in my buttock n lower abdomen..what could be done to reduce my buttock fat ? ?

Weight is lost: All over the body, not just in one area like the belly.  Are you exercising?  That is an important component.  Make sure your doc thinks you are healthy enough to exercise and ask him/her about what food plan to use, probably low carbs.  Please focus on who you are as a person, which is more important than waist size.  Peace and good health.

Appendicitis?: Many very different causes are possible. Appendicitis is one of the most urgent. Work up will include differential temperature (oral-rectal), WBC and sometimes observation in the hospital. Nausea, vomiting associated are commonly associated with this condition. But only an actual consultation in er or dr s office will clarify what is your case.
