Doubtful: however this can be metabolic, endocrine, neurologic or cardiologic. No matter what: you will need a comprehensive physical exam, EKG and comprehensive blood testing.I would aslo suggest neurological and cardiological consultations.

Palpitations: It depends on what kind of heart palpitations you are talking about. If it is regular heart rhythm but fast then the cause needs to be identified and treated accordingly. Most heart rate control medications have a bp lowering effect so it really depend on the individual situation. If related to thyroid, then that should be treated, anxiety related should be treated with anxiety meds and so on.

Good afternoon: There are many causes of these symptoms which cannot be expanded on in 400 character, but if this happens often to you then I would advise seeing a physician for an EKG and possibly an event monitor if there is concern for arrhythmia.   Basic blood work should be check, particularly the thyroid.  Point being it would be impossible to know without obtaining further history and testing.
