Normal placenta: A low lying placenta does not cover the cervical os or it would be a placenta previa.  Need to get clarification from your doctor.  Grade 0 is what is should be.  As the pregnancy advances the grade usually increase

Uterus grows: A low lying placenta at 4 months is something to monitor but not something to panic about. The placenta does not actually move but as the uterus grows the placenta will then be the normal position. It is too early in the pregnancy to be thinking about a C-section for low lying placentas. The majority of these will be resolved on later sonograms.

MFM doctor: If you have a high risk pregnancy, you should be under the care of a maternal feral medicine OB specialist. If this is not the case, call your OB and ask why. This is a higher risk situation and should be followed closely by a skilled OB at the least

Check with her OB MD: Your wife's OB MD is the one to ask this question. If your wife has been bleeding during this pregnancy then intercourse will probably be a "non starter". However other means of physical expression may be permitted but her OB MD's advice will determine what can and cannot be done.

VOMIT syndrome: Vomit syndrome is short for victim of modern imaging technology this is your problem. If you hadn't had an us you wouldn't know this normal finding. If you get 3 more us's you will see it rise out of the low lying position as your pregnancy progresses. Don't think this represents a problem, bedrest is the worst thing you could do.

Needs to be followed: The closer to the cervical is or opening there is a chance the baby can damage the placenta on the way out . During the course of the pregnancy this should move away

Nuchal thickness: Everyone gets offered the quad test screening for down's, trisomy 18 and spina bifida.  Its actually a very good test.  An increased nuchal thickness is associated with increase risk of Down's syndrome, but usually other things are seen with it.  A cell free DNA test may be a good one to check.

i'm 4 months pregnant, sonogram shows "low lying posterior marginalis placenta", they told me the placenta will go up as uterus will grow, i also experienced bleeding until the second month, will my pregnancy be safe? and placenta will go up?

: Maybe. The placental location can change some during pregnancy. It can move up and away from the outlet as it increases in size. It can also stay low, cross over the outlet and require a scheduled c-section to avoid a catastrophic delivery. The bleeding may be related and stopping is a good sign the pregnancy could proceed to term.

Ask your OB: You need to ask your OB. If it is not a previa, where the placenta is covering the cervix, you should be ok.

It is in a good spot: The high lying placenta on the back wall of your uterus is in a good spot to avoid bleeding at the time of labor. or before.
