Yes: Plenty of people naturally run relatively low lymphocytes, though it's good to try to find why. If this person isn't making antibodies after a year, consider yourself healthy, though if you or your physician are concerned, you can get a pcr for the virus.

?: How is he doing otherwise, what promoted the dr to ask for those tests, is he having frequent hard to treat infections? At any rate could be something temporary ,  and vaccine non responders are not uncommon, the low T and B lymphocytes can be just part of low lymphocytes altogether for several reasons most are reversible, infectious disease consultant may seek an Immunologist input, goodluck

my gp says i have the sickle cell trait due to low mchc & mch levels.  they were in range 5yrs ago age 41, i would of thought they would have been low since birth?  i now have undetectable antibodies and have been diagnosed with cvid?

Unclear question: Do you have symptoms? What antibodies were you tested for? Why were those tests done? If you have immune deficiency , it is treatable, but you may need to consult an immunologist.

can leukemia cells be dormant in the body? been having elevated wbc/ low rbc & high imm gran for 8mths platelets low 3mths but restored.mpv levels are still high. recent bone marro biop/ chromosome/fish/ antibodies test/ neg aml & mds could it be cml?

Antibiotics: The effectiveness of antibiotics depends on their activity against the bacteria involved. The antibiotics effectiveness does not depend on the individual's ability to ward off illness (immune competence). So, of the antibiotic being prescribed works against the causative agent, the HIV status shouldn't mean much.

Tongue: May be a side effect of the antibiotics or the flu virus. You should gargle with salt water and it should slowly go away. If not then see your doctor to have it cultured

Mirna ,myths ; facts: Mirna is not known to cause infection. But if have underlying infection prior to insertion mirna will not treat it. Mirena (levonorgestrel) may attach to or go through the wall of the uterus and cause other problems. Mirna is also not known to cause red cells in urine or urinary tract infection. If you have persistent pelvic or abdominal pain, see your healthcare provider.  Hope this helps.

Interesting tumor: Overally, neuroendocrine tumors are often capable of over-producing hormones that your body naturally makes.  Islet cells are cells that are naturally present in the pancreas and produce a number of hormones, most notably insulin. Insulin helps you break down and digest sugars. Patients with an islet cell tumor can produce too much Insulin resulting in weight & gain and low blood sugars.

Minimal: Islets of langerhans are the small subunits of the pancreas that contain Insulin secreting cells. They are prepared in a "slurry" that is injected through a vein into the liver or occasionally another site. No pain is associated with their final location. The only pain may come from the actual injection site - just like any injection.

Weigh the options: Islet cell transplants are performed, and many patients have been helped by them.  In particular, to treat the terrible symptom of hypoglycemic unawareness.  Like any surgical procedure there are risks and benefits that should be carefully discussed and understood before you go forward with the procedure.
