: This is not necessarily cancer-it could be a benign ulcer that bled and that is why the hemoglobin is low. Ferritin can be high as an acute phase reactant whenever there is inflammation and a benign ulcer can cause inflammation. Only biopsies will diagnose an ulcer as malignant, not the way it looks. could u pls suggest further course of action to be taken or test that u could recommend?

May be nothing: Reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. This can be fine for a man. Before you retest, drink a few glasses of water before the blood draw. Need to ask your ono: Your oncologist can help. Anemia can be caused by blood loss(which is common in patients with cirrhosis(GI blood loss due to varices).
Poor blood formation is also common(Anemia of chronic disease). Blood transfusion can help the pateint. Keep Hemoglobin near 10 Grams.
There is some treatment for Liver cancer that could be tried(the medicine is called Nexavar(Sorafenib)

: Chronic normochromic, normocytic anemia with normal iron parameters,normal Vit B12 levels and normal serum electrophoresis to rule out multiple myeloma can be caused by chronic inflammation. If you or your physician are still concerned, consult a hematologist for evaluation and advice.
