May be related: If Avapro (irbesartan) is with hct, then the potassium loss may result in cramping.  There is a potential for breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue resulting in muscle pain/tenderness, and weakness.  This is associated with fever, dark urine--see your doctor. VV AND BP: Varicose veins and leg veins, in general, have no relationship to low blood pressure.  Low blood pressure is a result of other factors.

Low BP: Symptoms caused by too low a BP are lightheadedness,especially on standing, weakness and intolerance of exertion. Usually a systolic BP of under 100 is symptomatic. Don't omit your losartan but at 109/52,I would ask your MD if you should take 1/2 a tablet for a few days and observe the response. Keep your MD informed about subsequent BP and any persistent symptoms. An office visit may be advised.
