A member asked:

Had blood test done by a neurologist and all items came back normal besides low aldolase. 1.9 u/l. my symptoms are leg cramps in the back calves?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear significance: Hi, Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. The low aldolase does not really correlate with your symptoms of muscle cramps, but suggests that there is not likely muscle breakdown accompanying your pain. Likely further testing is needed to determine the cause of your symptoms. Here is some additional information on aldolase. Hope you feel better soon! http://bit.ly/2nZR6WW
