May be lean...: If your percent body fat is very low, you will have to go low calorie and/or expend more.  If you have fat to lose, go without carbs for the next two weeks.  Even then, 10 lbs in two weeks...It will be very hard or impossible. Please do not let yourself use diuretics to dehydrate yourself, or use purgatives to lose weight.  Some coaches will encourage this. My coach in college did!@!

See your doctor : As this may be related to the stomach other studies will be needed to diagnose the problem. Looking in the stomach with an upper gastrointestinal study or endoscopy is the best way to see if the source of the problem is the stomach. Don't put this off any longer.

: The thing is menopause is diagnosed based on 12 months with no menstrual, NOT based on blood tests. The tests can sometimes confirm it, but they can be normal when menopause is just starting. Was your thyroid checked? Was it a gynecologist?

Don't do crash diet: With regular, medium-high intensity 5-6x/wk workout and a healthy/balanced diet along with setting a realistic, steady wt loss 1-2lb/wk max, you can accomplish this. Don't do crash diet because u will like regain it and some more later. Drink plenty of fluid, especially water, minimize junk foods/sweet drinks and you will succeed. Remember: staying healthy is a life-time committment. Good luck.

Diet & exercise: Make sure you exercise at least 90 minutes a day, don't skip meals, avoid soda, juice, dairy, alcohol and fried foods.  Eat a healthy well balanced diet! also water, organic vegetable broth, green leafy vegetables, natural pickles, apples are great to fill you up so you dont feel hungry and they are very low in calories.

Levothyroxine is for an UNDERactive thyroid. Please have your thyroid levels checked.

Unrelated: Your abs may be sore after a workout, but bloating and weight gain are probably coincidental and more related to fluid replacement, diet, etc.

Talk to your docs.: If you are currently taking Furosemide you may need to increase your meds per plan discussed with your doc.  In any case you need to notify your doc or the on call person asap. Pay attention to your lower extremity edema and to your shortness of breath.
