Do you have dysuria: Symptoms of a UTI in the absence of confirmed infection can be due to interstitial cystitis.  You have had a reassuring GI workup and the urinary symptoms appear from your description to be unrelated to GI issues.  Suggest you consider a urology consult to explore this further.

2 weeks of loose stool and now constipation. gallbladder normal. blood work normal. for 3 days, nausea about 2 hours after eating. not all meals, but one meal per day. dr said to try omeprazole and endoscopy scheduled. could this be gastroparesis?

: Do you have any underlying medical problem besides the gastrointestinal symptoms? Gastroparesis - lazy stomach, is usually seen in patient with underlying disease such as diabetes, systemic scclerosis, etc. Besides upper endoscopy to rule out stomach and duodenal lesion, you will need more tests to confirm gastroparesis such as gastric emptying scan.

Not "normal," but: You may have a sensitivity to wheat or gluten.  This could result in loose stools after eating a food you're sensitive to.

It can be.: Suppository can cause diarrhea if it is a stimulant laxative.

Probably not: Pancreatic disorders may cause loose stool.  They are not the most common cause.   In the office, I would suggest a probiotic or yogurt daily as well as citrucel daily.  You may also have a food allergy or sensitivity, consider keeping a food diary to track triggers.  Medications frequently cause diarrhea- not sure you take any.  Stool evaluation at your doctor's office may also help.

my 21/2yr old has viral gastroenteritis but mild passes loose stools one time once she eats dairy/fried/sugary foods .2 weeks on now how long normal?

Several weeks: sometimes after a viral gastroenteritis young children can be left with mild malabsorption and relative lactose intolerance. would try lactose free milk and consider a course of probiotics to improve digestion. avoid super sugary foods and  concentrate on lots of carbs such as rice and potatoes

Observe : As long as the changes in stool consistency are only occasional, non-bloody and not associated with weight loss, pain, vomiting or fever, observation is a reasonable course to follow.

Chronic diarrhea: Having chronic diarrhea for 8 months could be due to a number of reasons.  In order to work up for the cause, will need more detailed information.  Whether or not you had stool studies, TSH level, endoscopic procedures to rule out ulcerative colitis/crohn's disease, microscopic colitis, celiac disease.  Past medical history of possible diabetes, lactose intolerance, artificial sugar use are import.

is this likely serious ? colonoscopy 2019 for bleeding and loose stools/cramps . high cal protectin level. normal result . now experiencing similar symptoms and high protectin level again ? likely causes ? could it still be ibs with high protectin ?

: IBS does not cause the calprotectin level to be elevated. This is a sign of active inflammation in the gut. You need to see gastroenterology for evaluation.
