Toddler has loose stools on and off for 2wks now. this happenes every few months. acts normal, no fever, etc.stool is light brown.should i be worried?

Observe : As long as the changes in stool consistency are only occasional, non-bloody and not associated with weight loss, pain, vomiting or fever, observation is a reasonable course to follow.

Diarrhea: The stool color isn't worrisome, but if its been intermittent for a few months then needs more thorough evaluation. Could be toddler's diarrhea, maybe drinking too much juice and/or eating too many fruits. Possibly dairy related. Maybe just bad luck with infections. Besides a food restriction trial, he might need further evaluation through blood and stool.
