Bruising: True bruises will only last no more than 2 weeks. If yours has been there for a while, you want to get it checked out.

Bruise: A bruise should not last that long. It can be either hyper-pigmentation changes or you should check with your local physician to make sure that you don't have bleeding disorder.

Not really.: Sometimes a bruise, a collection of blood, can leave a residual bump, but i wouldn't assume that's what it is, i would see a dermatologist.

: The color of a bruise is driven by the red cells leaking into the tissue. It does not matter what caused the bleeding into the tissue. Regular bruising is usually due to trauma, bruising in leukemia and other blood disorders can occur without any trauma.

a few months ago i bruised my foreskin during intercourse. ever since its been swollen, the inside texture of the skin has become a bit velvety, the skin of the head has also become velvety and no longer smooth and shiny. some pain during intercours?

Possible infection o: or inflammation, requires direct observation. Abstain sexually for at least 7-10 days.  I suggest a urology consultation and loose cotton undergarments until seen and examined.

Probably not: Aging causes skin to thin and wounds to heal a little slower.  If you are at risk for diabetes then I would have that checked.

my son hit his head hard on a 2x4 wood while running. took him to er, they said he was fine. noticed the bumb is no longer hard, but squishy. and light bruising and bump on his right eyelid. hes sleeping, but cant help but worry?

: This is common in kids. If the injury did not knock him out, cause instability, memory loss or other symptoms he should do fine. The initial knot is blood under the scalp that gradually breaks down leaving a bruise. I would expect off &amp; on headaches this week, or not. Let him sleep but check on him without waking him. If he starts vomiting repeatedly take him back.

Bruising: the breast is vascular, fibrous and fatty tissue in makep so bruising is caused by the bloods availabilty to pool in that tissue environment. It doesnt clear as quickly as muscle does

Potentially : Bruising represents bleeding into an area of soft tissues and usually resorbs over a 10-14 day period.  A fracture takes usually 6-8 weeks to heal and may be associated with an ongoing inflammatory process during that time.

Bruising and peroids: Easy bruising of the skin can have many causes from meds, aging, sundamage and generally shouldn't be related to heavy menstrual flow unless there is a problem with blood coagulation.
