If irregular : periods, this is related to irregular ovulation and thickened uterine lining. If regular cycles, could uterine polyps or fibroids. An exam and ultrasound with your doctor would be appropriate, particularly if bleeding continues or recurs monthly at this level.

You : You need to see your primary care provider or visit your local urgent care center. Persistent heavy vaginal bleeding needs to be worked up. You could be having a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, fibroids, etc. Also you are at risk for anemia.

At the point where hormonal meds are used to bring on the cycle an increase in volume and change in the character of flow are common. I would not consider the cited symptoms worrisome, but a message to your treating doc would be reasonable. They can help you review the process and decide if further follow-up is needed.
