See your doctor: Very heavy bleeding with clots that are bigger than a quarter is often called menorrhagia and is very common and causes are varied. 10 million women in the us deal with it. Is this your first time experiencing this? Are you taking any form of birth control? Is there a chance you could be pregnant? Although most of the time nothing serious is wrong, i would suggest getting checked by your doctor.
