Dehydration: Dehydration can effect kidney function if it is severe. The decrease in kidney function usually is reversible with fluids. If you cannot eat or drink anything and if this has been going on for several days see your doctor or go to ER.

urine is passing thru body too slowly. i drink little in evening, but urine passed in a.m. much more than amount drank the previous 7-8 hrs. could this indicate urinary or kidney problem?  or could enlarged prostate block urine from afternoon liquids?

Pee a lot at night: This phenomena-peeing more at night than during day is called nocturia.  I would check day and sleep amounts. Sleep pee more is common in HTN. CHF and any problem inn which legs swell. Keep a diary of how many x a night I get up and share with team. Weigh when go to bed and get up. The cause is the fluid retained during day in feet/legs goes back into blood and goes out in urine. Low K can cause.

See below: Usually a few days, but if you have a ureteral stent in place, you may see bleeding for as long as the stent is present.  Be sure to drink plenty of fluids to keep your system flushed out.

No: no if you are not on intake restricted diet like for liver disease, heart disease or kidney disease.

Water: Different stones have different contents and require individual strategies for prevention. However, one thing common to causation of all stones is concentrated urine. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is always watery, colorless and odorless.

i have had stones in my kidneys for over a year, not in the urinary tract.  i drink a lot of liquids but i do not pee nearly enough. what can i do.

Drink more water: In the meantime consult with a urologist who may suggest a procedure to break up the stones. You may be not having any pain because the stones are not on the move. If they decide to leave the kidney the pain is severe or you could end up with hydronephrosis (enlarge kidney due to back up of urine). Don't be lulled in false sense of security if you have no pain now. Get a urology appt now..
