A member asked:

I have had stones in my kidneys for over a year, not in the urinary tract. i drink a lot of liquids but i do not pee nearly enough. what can i do.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Drink more water: In the meantime consult with a urologist who may suggest a procedure to break up the stones. You may be not having any pain because the stones are not on the move. If they decide to leave the kidney the pain is severe or you could end up with hydronephrosis (enlarge kidney due to back up of urine). Don't be lulled in false sense of security if you have no pain now. Get a urology appt now..
