i have beaus lines on fingers and toes..is this a sign of an illness   taking course now, or a past illness? cause i havent been sick in the past.

Past and Present.: Without trying to put too fine a point on it, Beaus lines are simply your body's way of memorializing an event that had an effect on your nail roots. This event can be any number of diseases, disorders, the taking of some medications just to categorize most of them. The distance from the line to the back of the nail (where it meets the skin) is an indicator of when the event happened.

i had a small cut on my index finger like on the middle line( the three lines on fingers)and there is pain and swelling and i'm not able to bend my finger completely. should i wait for it to heal or consult a doc?

: If you have pain/swelling and especially if it is worsening, you should see your doctor. You may have an infection that could require antibiotic treatment. Without seeing it, it is difficult to know. But, clean the area with soap and water and apply an antibiotic ointment to it and see a doctor! Good luck to you!

do deep vertical lines on fingers (palm side) after healing from a 2 weeks contact dermatitis ever go away or are they permanent? my skin on the palm of the hand is hardened, sensitivity is decreased and full with deep lines up to the fingertips?
