Scar: If my suggestion is right you mean scar in right lobe of lung. It's usually scar of previous lung infection like tuberculosis or pneumonia or others old problems - pleuritis, atelectasis, trauma, surgery.

: It sounds like there wasn’t a full deep breath taken for this x-ray. So, at the bottom of the left lung there is a minimal white line on the x-Ray. This white line could be a non-expanded piece of lung (atelectasis) or a scar or just the technique of the film. If there is concern, a CAT scan of the chest could be obtained and a lung doctor seen. Obstruction?: If you are overweight, you may have obstruction at the upper airway (usually from the tongue falling back) when you are lying on your back.  Another possibilityis aspiration from gerd- try sleeping on a 4-6 inch wedge to see if this helps. Your asthma does not seem to be under control either.

Linear scarring: They are commenting on scars in the base of your lungs that form thin lines on the x-ray. Its an indicator of old damage over time. The scarring does diminish lung function and can lend itself to collapse of the alveoli (lung air sacs) in the outer/lower parts of the lungs.

That was like you..: ..said, scarring due to pneumonia in the past.  If you don't have any symptoms of fever, cough, sputum, shortness of breath, sweating or weakness, then you most likely don't have pneumonia.  And a granuloma would not be anything to lose sleep over.. size and all.  I would continue to monitor the situation from a distance.

Generally not: Keratosis pilaris rubra faceii involves excess keratin production (small bumps) on the face which is often inflamed, causing the redness.  Since it generally does not involve infection, it usually does not leave scars unless someone picks at the bumps.  If it is irritating you enough that you are picking, seek help from your dermatologist.  If it scars, you need to see derm to r/o something else.
