Depression : See your doctor . Get counseling . Discuss medication side effects with PCP . Keep in mind that you have to balance the benefit / risk of side effect  and go from there  . You have to remain on antidepressants for at least 9 months to avoid relapse . Good luck .

Lorazepam: Not lexapro (escitalopram). Different drugs. You should not stop either without consulting your physician.

taking lexapro for 6 weeks. depression is under control. anxiety is another story. picking at the skin around my nails, cant work, panic attacks/breathing problems, cant concentrate, derealization, irritable, sleep irregular. could lexapro cause this?

Not the best idea: The 2 can potentiate each other and there is a possibility of serotonin syndrome.

Lexapro: The half life of lexapro is approximately 30 hours so that 2.6 mgs are in your system then, and 1.3 mgs in your system after another 30 hours,etc. Traces will be in your system for a few more days. Your pharmacist can answer this question better.

Lexapro: This can be taken in the morning or the night. If it makes you sleepy, take it in the evening, if it tends to keep you up, then take it in the morning.

now feeling shaky .
is normal from the increase?

You should go back to the previous dose and contact your doctor.
