Taking lexapro for 6 weeks. depression is under control. anxiety is another story. picking at the skin around my nails, cant work, panic attacks/breathing problems, cant concentrate, derealization, irritable, sleep irregular. could lexapro cause this?

Yes Lexapro can cause anxiety and has many side effects. Side effects can include tingling , numbness of skin ,sleep disturbance confusion irritability and sedation
