YES: Strokes can be anything from a "mini-stroke" or transient ischemic attack to devastating strokes affecting much of the right or left brain. Rare strokes could affect both the right and left sides of the brain.

Accepted Answer

No: Hyponatremia can be related to medications, poor diet etc. It is different to a stroke where the blood supply is cut off the part of the brain.

Accepted Answer

It is not clear what: You mean by "tone."  if you mean muscle tone, see your doc to rule out medical conditions and he/she may also check your magnesium level, along w/calcium and potasium.  When that is out of balance, often low magnesium, it raises risk of muscle spasams.  Another doc can comment on gabapentin, which is prescribed for nerve conditions if he/she likes.

: A "stroke" can occur at any time, as a "BP determination" is a single value at a single time, which can change due to situational stress.  If you are hypertensive as indicated, see an internal medicine physician for an exam and treatment for the hypertension.

Risk factors: A cardiologist or internist can help define your rsk profile by getting a history (family history, smoking, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia), and arranging for a fasting lipid level .  In high risk settings additional risk can be found with a lipid NMR study assessing non traditional risk factors such as lipoprotein particle size.  Other risk factors, plac,  crp, homocysteine  could help.

Very dangerous: This is rhabdomyolysis , means muscle destruction  caused by medication and may be induce kidney failure.

No: If you do not have a history of cardiovascular disease or diabetes or peripheral artery disease or kidney disease, there is no need to take a statin.

Several: Possible causes for high prolactin with no tumor:
a) medications such as antidepressants
b) hypothyroidism
c) severe stress (if the increase is mild)
d) a laboratory abnormality called "macroprolactinemia".

Got levels?: If your cholesterol levels are abnormal, then maybe. If not, then no. Call your doctor.

i had an occipital stroke in april, my glucose levels are now out of control, constantly falling fast or spiking, i'm very lightheaded and sick when that happens, when will my glucose levels return to normal?

: This is a couple months from your stroke and any elevated blood sugars now are not related to the stroke. They would be related to onset of diabetes. Best to see your doctor, have your blood sugar monitored and treated.
