: I doubt these symptoms are due to stress. They are characteristic of a neurological problem. If only the shoulder and hand were involved, a radiculopathy from a bulging disc in your neck would be suspected, but with the left side of the face and the left leg also involved, a lesion in the right cerebral cortex of the brain would be a concern. A neurologist is best to evaluate and advise you.

my husband played bball got an injury to left hand fourth finger. pain on the outside of knuckle. have had jammed finger b4 but not now. help please?

Fractures: Can be minor but there are some that need surgery especially if the joint is not lined up, sprains are ligament injuries and the finger hours are prone to these too in a basketball scenario often these are partial but i'f it is a complete ligament tear trwatment is more complex an evaluation  and an x-ray  can help to differentiate these injuries  if you need care a gand surgeon is a good place.

My best guess;: Shooting straight: you need good relationship with your md, a good evaluation by an internist or cardiologist, and then likely mild anxiety treatment wi a med like klonopin (clonazepam). Get your magnesium checked.

There are a lot: of different possible causes for your discomfort. None of them are particularly serious. Try a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen and see if it gets better. If it persists for more than 48 hours get checked out by a health care provider.

i was just told by my dr. that the reason my left hand and fingers hurt so terribly is because my 3rd cervical disc is schattere he said it looks like it was a while ago because there is a lot of scar tissue around it.  it is one disc.,  what can i do for

Not at all: The finger pain is fully independent of your trigeminal issues, and represents an additional co-morbidity.  A hand specialist can more fully evaluate.

by accident back of my hand was hit hard, in severe pain about 1hour. still in pain but not as bad. can move fingers and make a fist but when i try to lift index finger pain travels where it was hit. closer to wrist. broken or tendon problem?

If pain persist with rest you need to see a hand surgery specialist!

Act. modification: It sounds like you have exertional tendonitis or possibly early so called trigger finger(another type of tendonitis)
it could also be arthritis or a number of other diagnosis
if activity modification and nsaids don't  help i would see your local hand surgeon for an evaluation which should include x-rays.

Adequate positioning: The wrist and hand needs to be adequately protected and positioned to prevent pain; support of the wrist in typing would be very important.
