Blood group not impo: Yes i think it is of least concern. Usually blood group does not have to match for organ transplant. Your doctor will sort it all out before they would consider doing a liver transplant.

what will happen to my body, including my stomach and liver if i take one aleve only for the day?

: If you do not have kidney disease, stomach ulcers, gastritis, or bad reflux, &amp; if you eat something prior to taking Aleve, &amp; drink plenty of water during the day, it should be quite safe to take one Aleve per day.  It works very well for many patients with arthritis or certain other types of pain &amp; has been around for many years.

how fast does it take for your entire body to jaundice once it begins from end stage liver failure?

End stage: Is usually accompanied by jaundice, in my experience.

salmon and fish oil pills good? better to take cod liver oil alone? is cod with vitamin a safe?heard  "a " stays in body,so what if you have too much?

They're OK, but...: No food or vitamin is particularly healthy by itself. Eat a balanced diet with lots of plants and not too much red meat. Beyond that, maybe a multivitamin, but there's no proved health benefit from extra amounts of any vitamin or nutrient. And yes, carotenoids (vitamin A and related compounds) can accumulate in the body, turning skin and eyes yellow-orange. ("Carotenoid" comes from "carrot".)

please help
in light of my liver inflammation i had to discontinue ssri medication immediately. at first i could control it, but now with any movement i get brain shocks that take over my whole body. any ideas on how i can get back control w/out meds?

Brain shocks: The ‘brain shocks’ are most likely withdrawal effects of sudden termination of an SSRI.  As such they will go away without any intervention except giving it time.  They are weird and disconcerting but not dangerous.  I know of no intervention which works besides restarting an SSRI which does not appear to be safe for you.  Best of luck!

my  total cholesterol is 242, my triglycerides is 535, if i take  statin  iam having severe body pain, iam also having fatty liver, can i take niacin .

Niacin: You can take Niacin but be preparedfor flushing of the face, rashes or worsening of your liver problems.

i take zyrtec everyday for sinus issues, and lately taken tylenol for head/body aches (had the flu) , but in a month i have probably taken 20 or so. sometimes i take pepcid ac as well. could this cause liver issues? is tylenol/zeytrc too much?

: An allergy panel  may be helpful. If there is fever, green discharge, a course of antibiotics may be indicated. Nasal saline spray is often effective in reducing the symptoms. Watch for fever and increase in the headache pain.

No...: Anything called a "tonic" or "cleanse" has no proven value and quite possibly could make you sick.  Good luck!

Accepted Answer

No such thing: Detox from what?  The liver is a natural factory that packages and gets rid of a variety of chemicals, some of which are toxins, others are totally harmless.  I am not a believer in this idea that our bodies are chock fulla toxins we put in, and that fasts, enemas, cleanses and a variety of herbs "detoxifies" (removes the toxins).  There is virtually no scientific evidence for any of this.
