Many possibilities: There is a lot of anatomy in that area.  Have it evaluated by your doctor and have it treated appropriately.

See your Doctor: This could be several things, you need to be seen by your doctor ang get the lump checked out.  The most concerning thing would be an infection or abscess.

Hip arthritis: Since your pain occurs with weight bearing, hip pathology such as arthritis is a strong possibility. Fracture would be much less likely without trauma. There also is a possibility your pain can be from the lower back radiating to the hip. Arthritis or disc problems in the back could be possible. X-rays and a physical exam are needed. Back issues also may be more painful when up rather then laying

Need exam: You will need to have a hands on exam to make an accurate DX.
It prob is just a muscle strain, but the only way to reassure you that it is nothing else is to have an exam.

Till then, stop the exercise that is causing the pain, and use some warm moist heat to the area for about 15 min 4 times per day.

Lumbar strain: LUMBAR strain produced by playing a sport such as soccer should be treated with ice, NSAIDS,REST, for only several days ,then Rx with physiotherapist with modalities,stretching, gentle isometric spinal stabilization exercises.

tender small spot on left last rib above hip bone on the side of my body more towards my back. i can feel a small lump or swelling possibly in the skin it feels like. what causes this area to be so tender to touch? it doesn't hurt to breath move cough etc

See ans: You could have a skin lesion and this could be a cyst or fatty tumor. Best is to see if it changes in size or shape or painful or tender and consult with your doctor.

throbbing sharp pain on left side near hip bone and under rib cage. feels tensed and hard. chest hurts to breathe, uti, nausea and vomiting. help?

UC/ER: Sounds like you need to be seen by a doctor soon. Urgent care or ER. At the very least they can prescribe medication to ease the nausea and vomiting and make sure you are being treated adequately for pyelonephritis if your UTI is not a kidney infection.

Med eval.: I don't know how long you have had the hip pain for or if it has been medically evaluated. If it is at all chronic, would encourage you to have it medically evaluated.   Acupuncture is often helpful for musculoskeletal pain. Additionally, depending on cause a 4 " or greater depth memory foam mattress topper can make sleep much more comfortable with hip pain.

d left side of my hip bone is higher than d right. i'd a curved spine when i was younger but d doc said d degree of curvature was ok. i get backache often. cld this b due to d curved spine n does it usually worsens with age? thanks!

Could: It could worsen. Most aches and pains do worsen as we age. May be beneficial to get an orthotic brace that helps straighten the curvature and reduce abnormal load on rest of body.
