Need exam: You will need to have a hands on exam to make an accurate DX. It prob is just a muscle strain, but the only way to reassure you that it is nothing else is to have an exam. Till then, stop the exercise that is causing the pain, and use some warm moist heat to the area for about 15 min 4 times per day.
