Wound care: What is your tetanus status? If you don't know or it has been more than 10 years, then a tetanus shot would be prudent.  The lesion needs to be cleaned with warm soap & water. Can you reach the area to do that or know someone who could?  If you have really dirty or thick road burn or equivalent - it would be good to have wound care done by a health care  professional. Take care. Nsaid's for pain.

You would need to register with a Bradley Method instructor, who would be associated with a hospital or local birthing center. While natural births are always ideal, avoiding medications, but using caution to be sure you are near a facility where care would be immediately available if things don't go as desired to ensure healthy delivery.

It varies: on how much venom injected.  Most brown recluse bites are no more serious than a bee sting.  Redness, a burning sensation and swelling occur within the 1st hour.  Within the first 24 hours the bite may blister, if there is discoloration around the bite, there may be skin necrosis, this occurs within 4 days of the bite.  Signs of infection or necrosis need to be seen immediately.

Thesigns of infect: Clean the scratches with soap and water. Watch for redness, swelling, warmth, pussy drainage, or red streaks. If these symptoms appear see a doctor.

Depends: There are different degrees of impairment. Legal blindness is best corrected vision of 20/200 or worse in the best eye or visual field constriction of less than 20 degrees. To operate a car, you must have 20/60 or better vision in your best eye. Impairment depends on the context.

Probably inborn: There's no explaining preferences like this any more than there's any explaining why some men are born gay, some straight, and many on a continuum. Photoguy is happy with his choice, and i doubt anyone would dare tell him it's the wrong one.

Yes: Many people go through life without having a severe food reaction, and there are people who grew up with severe food allergies that became less severe over time and allergy specialists can help “desensitize” you - but always keep an Epipen around if you have a severe food allergy!
