See Derm: Could be excessively dry skin, a vitamin  deficiency, or a dermatitis of some cause.  A dermatologist specializing in disorders of the skin would be a good dr. To see and get the proper diagnosis and treatment.  Good luck.

i recently started at a mechanic shop and noticed my fingertip pads (all 10) are very smooth and when i bend them the line of the first knuckle on the inside of palm hurt, they look slightly swollen? i rarely use my pinky, but its the same way?

Finger changes : This needs to be seen to be understood. Do you think that this is wear to your skin from working?  There are many other possibilities but the wear from work seems most likely.

im 17, and ive went to the gym a while ago for the first time in a while. every since then ive notice that ive had like a numb feeling in my fingertips and sometimes a pain in my palm while driving. it only happens when im driving. any help?

: Probably held some gym equipment too tightly or strained some muscles and tendons in the hands. Icing /Resting and limiting use for a few days can help. And when one resumes exercising, take it slowly and gradually build up the muscles, tendon and joints. If numbness continues a visit to PCP or neurologist might be appropriate.

Some people require calcium channel blocker such as amlodipine, if other joint problems then a rheumatologist.
