I recently started at a mechanic shop and noticed my fingertip pads (all 10) are very smooth and when i bend them the line of the first knuckle on the inside of palm hurt, they look slightly swollen? i rarely use my pinky, but its the same way?

Finger changes : This needs to be seen to be understood. Do you think that this is wear to your skin from working? There are many other possibilities but the wear from work seems most likely.
