Read below: Exposure to cold is the most common cause of blue finger tips. There are medical conditions called vasculitis, which can also create the same effect. If there pain involved at any time, you should have a medical doctor evaluate your condition. Good luck from nyc.

Raynauds: It could be several things but raynauds should be considered. Environmental triggers such as exposure to cold can lead this over-reactive response. However, stress can also be a trigger and lead to the symptoms of reynauds. If your symptoms are bothering you significantly you should be seen by your doctor. Vascular surgeons, rheumatologists, and many primary care doctors can help you deal with this disorder.

See your doctor: Symptoms you describe could be due to several conditions. Raynaud's phenomenon is a vasospastic disorder which causes discoloration of the fingers, toes, and occasionally other areas. I have never seen it affect the palms. Acrocyanosis is persistent blue discoloration of the extremities, most commonly occurring in the hands, although it also occurs in the feet and nose. See your doctor.
