Large neck cyst: If you are just simply wanting it incised and drained (with the risk for recurrence), you can call doctors in your area and inform them of your budget and see if any will be able to accommodate you.  If you want it removed, the fees are much higher as the procedure takes more time and precision and involves more risk.  With obamacare, your son should be able to obtain insurance for this.

: It sounds like cyst needs to be drained ASAP- waiting till 11 May could be a problem.  It is hard to remove a badly inflamed cyst completely: many Drs drain the pus &amp; sebum out when it is as you describe, then return to the surgeon to have it removed a bit later.
Changing antibiotics might help but the solution is getting the stuff out!

Vasectomy is also fairly straight foreward and can be done under local anesthesia, often as an office procedure. A segment of the vas deferens should be removed in order to prevent spontaneous recurrence. There can be signifcant testicular swelling after the procedure for several days.

Please don't try it: Even in our terribly dysfunctional health care system, you're inviting an infection and, even worse, a ruptured cyst which will give you a nasty, very-hard-to-treat foreign body reaction at the site that will be a nuisance for the rest of your life.

: Something does not add up. We do surgery on vagina all the time and take care of the infection. Why is second opinion not possible? You do need to see a different doctor. Try the local clinic of planned parenthood, if you cannot afford a second gyn.
