Large painful sebaceous cyst oozing. skin dr. said continue cefdinir dont squeeze it. removal is scheduled 5/11. chance it could go septic. told me use ice packs to take down pain/redness. what else can i do, this scares me. i live alone?

It sounds like cyst needs to be drained ASAP- waiting till 11 May could be a problem. It is hard to remove a badly inflamed cyst completely: many Drs drain the pus & sebum out when it is as you describe, then return to the surgeon to have it removed a bit later. Changing antibiotics might help but the solution is getting the stuff out!
