3 months post op sliding genioplasty, wiped toothpaste from below lip but accidentally wiped the chin really hard could i have moved it back?

Genioplasty: Highly unlikely that one incident moved anything, especially 3 mos post treatment.  If it failed to heal in the first place you would have likely known due to pain ,swelling etc... If still concerned, contact surgeon who performed.

Genioplasty, etc.: Yes, you will experience significant swelling of the chin and cheeks and lips after a genioplasty plus fat grafts to cheeks plus lip fillers. Generally speaking, the swelling will actually increase for the first 72 hours, then slowly subside over a couple of weeks.

my lip and chin are numb after nerve damage, but i can feel temp and pain if i pinch it. what is my prognosis? it's been 3 weeks post op.

Time will tell: If you have pain and temperature sensation at 3 weeks, you have a good outlook for recovery.  Nerve recovery in the face takes up to 9 months; you may notice the area decrease in size over time.  There is the risk that you will have a small persistent patch of numbness, or just 'dullness'.  Take a b-complex vitamin for the next 6-9 months to ensure your bod has what you need for nerve recovery.

i'm afraid doctor put too much fat in my lips. 1 day post op they look ridiculously huge and bottom lip has itchy swollen lump. will this improve?

First: Discuss this with the surgeon.  From a neurological standpoint you can monitor recovery with a Blink Study ( facial nerve NCV  ) the development of aberrant nerve re growth obviates a careful assessment of facial nerve function including taste, ability to tolerate loud noises, production of saliva and tears ( not just facial muscle responses )  See a neurologist for this.

had ess. 2 weeks post op. right nostril congested for week and drips down lip. no blowing. any advice to clear stuffy nose or what is causing this?

Runny nose after sur: Irrigate your nose and put a dressing over the nose to catch the drainage. You can try some afrin (oxymetazoline) for the congestion.  Good luck.

all 4 wisdom teeth removed today under general anaesthetic. bottom lip, chin & right side of tongue numb. op finished at 9.30am. how long till normal?

Hard to say: Ususally, the numbess doesn to last for more than an hour or two, b ut it depends on the type of anesthesia your surgeon administered. Some will last 12+ hours.

Give your surgeon a call in the morning if you are still numb and explain your situation.

2. my bottom lip and chin are still numb and sometimes tingly, today is day10 post-op, is this normal?

Sutures: The oral surgeon placed sutures at the surgical site to gain primary closure over the wound. Regarding the paresthesia on your lower lip, it is important that you contact your surgeon for a post operative follow up appointment.

Team decision.: Clefts including cleft palate are a complex multidisciplinary condition.  If your child has a cleft, involve a cleft palate team at your closest medical center as early as possible!  The team will customize treatment needs specific to your child and manage the cleft as your child grows for the best long term outcome.

i had frenectomy operation for frenulum labialis superior, but i am very worried, will my lip shape or smile change because of this operation? will my upper lip hang down? or will there be any changes in my appearance?

: There should be absolutely no changes in your appearance. No worries.
