Without it u will be having difficult time. By the way it is not too late.

my surgeon says  i have pseudolocking, intermittent acute anterior knee pain, occasional anteromedial pain . what does all that mean ?

Not sure: Your surgeon sounds like he has a creative sense of medical terminology.  Not sure of what he means by pseudolocking.  Your knee either locks or it doesn't.  I guess he could be describing what he thinks is the perception of locking that you are describing.  Long story short sounds like he is describing patellofemoral pain. Stretch hammies, strengthen quad, nsaids..Yada yada.

i fell in feb on knees. surgeon says it caused chondromalacia. another surgeon reviewed notes & says it was preexisting. who do i believe?

Does it matter??: Chondromalcia of the knee or more probably the patella (knee cap) can be present with little or no symptoms.  A fall can make this condition clinically painful or symptomatic. I take it that you may have some legal concerns about the fall and whether it was responsible for your symptoms after the fall. Some conditions can be present but not cause any symptoms until after an injury.

if knees hurt when i jog, should i give up jogging? (i went to ortho surgeon 8y ago when problem began; he felt the knees and said no need to stop)

Could be many things: depending on how much pain is limiting your ability to function, you may need another evaluation from a physiatrist or a pain physician.
X ray will pick up fracture and may be arthritis
MRI will pick up soft tissue and ligament problems

at this time, i would use NSAIDs and ice/cold compress and Physical therapy. In regards to exercising, I would recommend swimming as to avoid further stress

why a surgeon choosing to suture the bucket handle tear meniscus for the knee instead of removing it ?

Meniscus: Bucket handle tears are large tears of the meniscus. At your age it would be best to try to keep as much cartilage as possible. Removing the meniscus certainly would be easier but would leave you with less padding. Bucket handle tears have the capacity to mend due to the blood supply.

are knee replacements worth it, i was told if the cortisone shot dont work i can make an appt with a surgeon, its not working so should i do it?

Try the steroid shot: They will either help or not, shouldn’t hurt you

does torn miniscus necessarily mean tkr. torn in r knee 3weeks before tkr l knee. surgeon says not sure it would end pain to just scope miniscus.

Torn meniscus: All people that have knee arthritis have a complex tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. A knee scope will likely not fix your problem as the symptoms you are having are likely the result of your degenerative arthritis and not the meniscus. The meniscus tear is a result of the altered biomechanics from the arthritis.

Second opinion: I suggest you have a second opinion, and have a thorough re-evaluation.  Many things can be uncovered that may help you over-come this problem.  If it was an arthroscopy (cartilage, meniscus, ligaments etc) see a sports medicine orthopedist, if it was joint replacement, see an arthroplasty orthopedist, and if it was a fracture - see a knee traumatologist.
