Many causes get seen: The knee can hurt moving side to side for a variety of reasons. Your meniscus in your knee can be injured causing pain, your ligaments can be strained, you can have a stress fracture of your femur or tibia, your muscle insertions can be inflamed, you can have an inflammatory arthritis.  Less likey but other causes: gout, lyme disease, recent illness, tumor. Get seen by orthopedic surgeon.

Possible overuse: tendinitis form forceful compression of a stiffer clutch,I suggest us king a nee support as well as Advil or Aleve if not allergic to aspirin or NDAIDS. A good mechanic may be able to adjust the clutch tension. Get examined if conservative therapy if ineffective buy spme Bio-Flex linimengt. No bending or squatting and have a mechanic adjust clutch tension.

You need specifics : We need a specific diagnosis  Many different ailments can effect the knee. Bone, cartilage, tendon , ligaments and even decreased muscle tone and strength . Your physician will evaluate these issues to help advise you.

I : I recommend consulting with a rheumatologist.  There are multiple causes for knee pain that may be missed by a general practictioner.  Gout, ra, pseudogout, etc...  That would be your best best at getting a diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.

Sounds likely: Usually ct arthrogram follows the xrays? If the patella is dislocating you need bracing and pt and possible surgery.

See details: The major risk is GI including ulcers and bleeds. I do want my patient to take it long term. If it is, then a protein pump inhibitor such as Prilosec should also be taken daily to protect the GI tract.
