my husband has been getting pain in his femur radiating from the ball and socket area down and is painful when pressure is placed on the leg
its been 3 months now and no-one can tell him why.

Femur pain: Has an orthopedic specialist been consulted?  If the hip area is tender it could be chronic hip bursitis which may not show on simple xrays .  Seek a second  opinion from another orthopedic specialist if one has already evaluated your husband. Additional imaging  studies like an mri of the hip may be needed in order to make a diagnosis.

i have acute pain in my ball and socket area on left side of hip when i lift my leg higher than 45 degree angle. i also get pain in that same area when i sneeze! however, if someone lifts my leg for me in a passive movement then i do not get pain?

: The origin of your pain is likely from your left scrotum rather from your hip. In that case, palpating your left ball should elicit the pain and detect the abnormal content of the left ball (scrotum). If pain persists, please see your doctor for a thorough exam. Good luck.

Yes: Yes but lupus may also have neurologic complications that resemble parkinsonism.

i have a total hip replacement and the ball completely comes out of the socket went i place my foot to my knee and butterfly. is this normal? im in pain? sex hiking fishing snowshoeing kills me?

: Contact your orthopedic surgeon, and determine appropriate approach.  Revisional surgery may be needed.  In meantime, avoid provocative activities.

Tough to tell: What were the circumstances of your injury?  Did you feel a pop or tear?  Are you able to bear weight on the affected leg?  The answers to these questions are clues.  You may have injured a ligament, tendon, muscle or cartilage.  Consider seeing a doctor if you have severe pain, limited range of motion, or are unable to bear weight.

Normal joint: Some individuals have joints that "crack" and is usually an inherited trait.  It is usually a normal and benign condition that results from Nitrogen dissoved in the joint fluid (called synovial fluid) suddenly escaping with pressure developing within the joint with normal motion.  With rapid escape of Nitrogen, you can hear a popping or cracking sound.

after a session of shooting a soccer ball, i have a pain on the left of my right knee just below the joint, every time i shoot. no sound or tear, why?

For how long?: Could just be a sprain, but a medial meniscal or medial collateral ligament injury would be the worst case scenario.  Generally the knee doesn't like lateral and torquing movements, both common in soccer.  Might need an MRI if the symptoms doesn't resolve in a couple of weeks.

Rheumatologist: There are several causes of joint pains including rheumatoid arthritis, gout,lupus,etc. If your symptoms persist, I recommend that you see a rheumatologist who will order the appropriate tests and treatment.

When we: exercise...especially without the proper "stretching" og our muscles prior to the exercise we "break" microscopic blood vessels and they bleed a very very small amount of blood! This is like an INTERNAL bruise!!! We call it a "charliehorse" or STIFFNESS!
Your joints are YOUNG and have CARTILAGE which is LIVING TISSUE!!  Same rules apply!
