i have kidney pain what it cut be?i have recently stop drinking soda and star drinking water. when start drinking water is when the pain start.

See a doctor: Congratulations on switching from soda to water- that will have many benefits! kidney pain is usually caused by either kidney stones or a kidney infection, though often pain in the kidney area is not from the kidneys at all but from the muscles in the area of the kidneys (this is likely if the pain is affected by motion or position). Please see a doctor for evaluation & treatment.

im am having some left kidney pain and i have been drinking water i took azo but this didnt change the color of my urine. my urine is clear should i go to the er? my pain is a 2-3 discomfort. is clear pee like water ok?

: Are you certain that the pain is coming from the.left kidney? If there's a complete blockage in the left ureter by a stone or other cause, your urine from the right kidney can be clear. In this case, an ultrasound or renal CT scan would be diagnostic. You're not experiencing severe pain, but instead of waiting to see your MD next Monday, you may want to get prompt attention in the ER.

Wrong antibiotic?: Could be wrong antibiotic. Did they send it for  antiobiotic resistance/sensitivity determination?

See urologist: Assuming you are not diabetic, this requires specialist's help. There is a condition in which one does not produce the hormone to control the water loss, but it is not associated with pain.  One other thought is that you may well be drinking too much water for psychologic reason and this can make you ill.

i have been having a yellow discharge for 2 months. it turned watery for 2 weeks, stopped now it is yellow again. have had some side pain that was relieved by drinking water. seems to come and go not heavy. now there is an odor from my private parts?

: Discharge plus strong vaginal odor suggest infection, especially bacterial vaginosis (an overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria) or trichomonas (an STD that is often detected only many years after catching it). Hmm...: Kidney does not have storage of salt. It a filtration organ which selectively filters out bad chemicals, excess metabolites from blood ( body ). More water will be excreted out by kidney......if you drink excess than daily need. During the process you will loose some electrolytes.

Get checked: Pain in the chest can have multiple causes.  The "kidney" pain may be muscular pain in the back.  This may or may not be associated with your chest symptoms.

Myth: There is no adverse effect to the kidneys by drinking water at night other than perhaps having to get out of bed to urinate more often. The kidneys do not need to 'take a rest' like other parts of our body.

Perhaps: One of the treatments for kidney stones involves increasing the flow through the kidneys, and water may help some, but an IV of saline (salt water) increases it much more. Drinking salt water is not usually well tolerated, but large volumes of oral or IV fluids that contain various salts and water may help if the stone is not attached or stuck in the ureter.
