Yes : The symptoms of a kidney infection may only be fever and mild-severe flanks pains and no changes in urination. Sometime you do get urinary tract infection symptoms as well.

4 issues including:: (a) Bladder control; failure to empty bladder (healthy up to ≥250 cc before feeling need to void &amp; &lt;5 cc after voiding), (b) bladder irritation for another unidentified basis, (c) &amp;/or focus/anxiety about bladder issues (protection/distraction from other unacceptable issues?) along with (D) total daily fluid volume intake because daily output must match daily intake, else become edematous.

Possibly: Foamy urine (like beate egg whites), is nonspecific but could indicate UTI or more commonly protein or Albumin in the urine.  Your primary care doctor should do  routine urinalysis to see if there is abnormal protein, red blood cells, or white blood cells or other abnormalities.  Depending on that, further testing may need to be done as well.

Yes: Yes you can, especially in the beginning or a milder infection. Other symptoms that point to infection are going to the bathroom more often, urgent urination and fever/chills.The pain, if it does occur is usually a burning sensation.The urine can also appear cloudy and have a foul odor to it.If you have the other symptoms besides pain, you should see your doc to get a urinalysis.

Kidney infection: Bladder infections are usually quite painful and leave a sense of urgency even after emptying the bladder.   Kidney infections can be related to back pain but usually have fever and the patient is quite ill.

10 days on keflex for strep b group uti, still symtomatic, i.e., frequently need to urinate -  but urine clear, could this be a kidney infection?

Probably not: Kidney infections usually cause fevers and back pain. If you still have some symptoms, you should go back and get retested. You may need a different antibiotic, or you might not be emptying your bladder completely when you do urinate, which is trapping bacteria in the bladder. Good luck!

Not necessarily: You might have a partially treated infection - majority of the bacteria have been killed but there are enough to continue to cause symptom.  You may need another course of antibiotics - check with your doctor.  Kidney infection generally makes you feel sicker - fever, nausea, vomiting, flank pain - because the infection is no longer contained in a confined space.

Yes, get it checked: You should get this checked to make sure it is not a kidney infection or kidney stone. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids.

Bladder infection: It sounds like cystitis or a bladder infection. Generally kidney infections are associated with a high fever, vomiting and flank or mid back pain. It can progress from cystitis. You need a urine assessed and cultured. Along with likely antibiotics. All the best.
