NO!: I don't know what source you got this misinformation from, but I doubt it was reputable.  If you want to enjoy the flavor and vitamins in pom juice, by all means, do.  But don't drink it because you think it will "reverse heart disease."  I wish it did, but it doesn't.

No: The keto diet isn't 'safe' for anyone. Deliberately placing your body into a starvation state is dangerous. Yes, you will lose weight but you will not be healthier. The only diet that will improve health is that which ONLY includes fruits, vegatables, nuts, and lean protien. Remember, weight loss is not equal to improved health.

No: its not "concerning" at all...and the advice to change diet is to reduce your cholesterol/fat intake ( The "trend" is for lower and lower LDL and TOTAL Cholesterol levels!  Ask your Health Care Provider for a GOAL..just to say "change diet" is NOT enough info
The trend is also for patients to achieve higher and higher HDL levels (using EXERCISE to obtain this is a good idea for HEART CONDITIONING!

Lots of questions: Exercise, eat well, don't smoke, avoid illegal drugs &amp;excess alcohol. Nothing else needs to be done to keep heart healthy. E-cigarettes are just a little better than tobacco, but not much. If they're used as short-term aid to quitting they might be acceptable but should avoid all forms of drug inhalation to stay healthy. Atherosclerosis can definitely be reversed with lifestyle improvements.

Your grandmother's history provides some only a small fraction of the picture.  Genetics are only one of multiple cardiovascular risk factors. Others, such as hypertension, diabetes, ones lipid levels, diet and life-style, are additional risk factors.

Somewhat: Diet with modification of fat intake, coupled with exercise can help slow heart disease progression.  To say it can prevent it is probably stretching things.  However, there is no question that regular exercise coupled with good diet habits and a physician's guidance imo can clearly improve one's cardiac disease status.  I believe considerable research exists to back up that statement.
