got hit in jaw. pain in left side of lower jaw and ear. hurts to eat on that side. can't close it all the way. have movement but with pain. help?

Couple possibilities: One possibility is a fracture of the jaw bone.  It could occur a couple of different places and is only going to be evident on an x-ray.  Another possibility is a dislocation in the tmj.  You may need to see an oral surgeon for either of these problems.

i got hit right where the jaw connects to the neck. and my ear hurts when i yawn or hiccup. it is also swollen in that area. could it be the  glands?

No: It could be the neck of the mandible or the tissues surrounding it. Treat it like a bad bruise or contusion. If it is not improving or your bite is off, see your dentist. All the best.

hit my head 3 days ago, it didnt hurt at first. next day i had a pain in the area, and today i had a dull headache and ear pain as well, any ideas?

Not unexpected: Even minor head trauma can bring on a headache up to 2 weeks after the event. It does not mean you have a clot on your brain or other such issue. If you had no blackout at the time and no memory loss, the chances of a concussion or significant injury is minimal. The ear pain may or may not be a separate issue &amp; should be monitored as you would if it arose independently.

Referred pain: This is called referred pain.  Hard to know the source just from the info you give, but it cough be a primary ear issue or a throat issue

Be seen: It sounds like an irritation or infection in the ear, eustacian tube, or sinuses.  Be seen to find out.

Jaw pain: Could be dental throat or ear problem and needs examination.  Please see a doctor for examination and then they can make a diagnosis and information and a treatment plan is often reassuring

Ear pain: Two most common problems with dull ear ache:  temporomandibular joint pain dysfunction (tmd or tmj) or ear infection.  Ear infection could involve the canal or the middle ear, but your age alone would argue against a middle ear infection, unless you had a lot of problems with ear infections as a child.  Tmd is more likely.  Usually from grinding your teeth and can cause significant ear pain.

TMJ: Sounds like this could be TMJ - temporomandibular joint disorder - in which there is inflammation of the joint.  Have your doctor examine you for this to make sure it's not something else.  It tmj, it can be treated.
