Ok: If you get your period the chance of being pregnant is slim. It is why the iud is inserted the last day of period and why birth control pills are started during period.

i had 2 mirena (levonorgestrel) iuds for a total of 10 years. i had the last one removed about 9 months ago.last 2 months period has been on only spotting when i wipe?

I think it would be: very unlikely that any menstrual irregularity you are experiencing now would be related to the Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD that was removed 9 months ago.  Are you now using another form of contraception? Is there any possibility you could be pregnant?  One of the first things I would do is check a pregnancy test. If negative, and no other symptoms, perhaps wait another month, and then contact your doctor.

May not get better: Depending on what type of iud you got, cramps may or may not get better. Mirena (levonorgestrel) often helps with crampy/heavy periods, but paraguard may make cramping worse. Motrin/aleve may help. If not better or worsen, follow-up with your doc for an evaluation. Good luck.

Yes often not always: Many times bleeding gets heavy after iud though not always
iud causes at times irritation in endometrium  increasing blood flow and more blood loss.

Possible: Some women may notice more cramping, especially if the iud is causing them to have heavier periods.  Taking Ibuprofen will help ease this cramping.

Hematuria-need eval.: Assuming you are not having your period, then blood is never normal when urinating.  Get an evaluation for hematuria, which may include a urinalysis (with reflex to culture), ct urogram, and possible cystoscopy. (with your pain, you may need a pelvic ultrasound too-but get evaluated and the dr. Can do what is best). God bless, best wishes.(sometimes hematuria may be asymptomatic and of no concern).

i'm getting an iud in a few days. i'm using it to lessen heavy periods and extreme cramps. can an iud stop periods and if so how long would that take?

Different option: IUD will not stop periods. There are birth control pills that can limit the frequency of periods. You should discuss it with your gynecologist.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

after insertion of the iud, my periods comes which shooting pain below the navel which doesn't look like cramps, it is more like a stapping plus gases?

Pain after IUD: I recommend you see the doctor who placed the IUD and discuss this with them.  It might need to be replaced.  They will be able to better advise.

Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis.: The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.
