Actually you should: cover your body with lotion especially after bath or shower when skin still wet. Also add a moisturizing body wash not soap. Add oral Vitamin E and B complex for skin

Rashes can occur : Rashes can occur with any medication.  If you want to take omega 3, you could switch to flax seed oil capsules and perhaps you may not break out with a rash.

If the skin is very dry, itching could result even without an obvious rash. ive recently came across this very itchy skin issue. everytime i scratch my skin or if anything is compressed or touched on my skin it welps up and im almost always very itchy. im not sure whats going on but its uncomfortable and i need pointers?

Allergic?: Have you changed any of your toiletries, changed laundry detergents, new foods, new medicine, new pets?  Your hives may be caused by an allergic reaction.  Try over the counter antihistamine.  If you start to feel wheezy or tingly around the mouth, notice swelling of your lips or throat, report to the ER immediately.  Less commonly hives can be caused by stress/anxiety or changes in the weather.

Several treatments: First of all, start moisturizing your entire body. Use ointments if possible - they are more effective than lotions or creams. Limit showering and bathing to 1-2 times a week if possible. If you are intensely itchy, you can try OTC oral Claritan, Zyrtec or Benadryl (later one works great, but likely to make you drowsy). If any tiny red dots present ,need to be looked at to make sure no infestation
