i'm pretty sure i still have athletes foot and it isn't going away with creams! what else can i do?? itches burns and tingles. on soles of feet! thnx

Consider a powder: for athletes foot to help reduce moisture and improve comfort.  Powders, sprays, creams and ointments that contain antifungal medication are appropriate.  Treating or replacing the shoes you have been wearing, and decontaminating the shower/tub may help reduce re-infection.  Sometimes, prescription oral medications are used.

incredible deep itching on sole of foot at the big toe joint. had it for about a week. have had foot drop for about two years.is this connected?

Depends: What was the reason for the foot drop?  Was it due to trauma, compression, other reasons?  Depending on what and where the foot drop lesion arose, if the deep itching is between the webbing of the big and second toe, it could be due to the nerve re-innervating the skin (if the feeling was lost there previously). However, it would strongly be determined by your past medical history.

Possible fungus: It is possible that you have a patch of fungal or yeast infection.  Try an over the counter yeast cream such as is used for athlete's foot and see if that helps.

: Blisters can be caused by many skin and systemic disorders, and location may pinpoint the diagnosis. For small areas, does it follows a specific skin pattern called dermatome? It could be shingles. Grouped, painful, and one is sexually active? Herpes simplex. Hands/Feet? Eczema, friction/sucking blisters, erythema multiforme, epidermolysis bullosa simplex, fungal infection.

Many possibilities: There are many types and causes of skin rashes.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

Fungus: Sounds like a form of fungus/athletes foot. Try anti-fungal cream. If get if this does not help or if it gets worse. See podiatrist. Try to minimize excessive perspiration or moisture in area.

Itchy feet: Sorry you have to go thru that :-(  you might be suffering from tinea pedis or.....Athletes foot.  This is a very common condition that can cause all sorts of discomfort.  Check your feet and see if they are peeling or cracked, even between the toes.  A mild topical anti fungal may help or topical steroid cream.  If the condition continues ask for a podiatry referral.
