Probably will pass: I would guess that moving your right arm to brush is causing the sensation due to the injury from your fall.
Try brushing left handed and see if it still happens.

Probably not: I am assuming you mean baking soda, which is an ingredient in many toothpastes.  Plain baking soda can be very abrasive and can cause wearing of the dental enamel.  I would not recommend brushing teeth with soda.

Make it fun: Sing a song he or she likes while you help brush.  Let them read a book while lying on the floor.  Incorporate something fun into the routine, but remember that you need to help your 2 year old brush.  After, have him or her show you how they do it on their own.

See your Dentist: Bleeding gums is a sign of inflammation. This can be a sign of other problems. I would suggest that you see a dentist and their team to give you needed care which may be something simple that you can easily do at home!

Not directly, but..: Tooth brushing is absolutely your first line of defense against gum disease.  But people who brush their gums "too hard" can actually cause great harm.  Being too rough on your gums can lead to recession.  When gums recede, the roots of the teeth and surrounding bone are susceptible to further bacterial attack.  That- is clinical gum disease.  So brush properly and gently and don't forget to floss.

Yes: I often recommend a mouthwash  after
brushing. There are many mouthwashes but, 
most mouthwashes are not very effective. Ask your dentist what mouthwash they recommend to address your dental needs.

Bacteria: Brushing your teeth will help, however the yellowness can be due to tartar build up and need to be cleaned by hygienist
smelliness can be due to bacteria on the tongue, use a tongue scraper and rinse with otc product.

Never: Brush and floss only the ones you want to keep.

Yes: In a healthy mouth, your gums should not bleed when flossing.  Bleeding indicates there is inflammation present that is likely from plaque and tartar deposits on your teeth.  You may need your teeth cleaned or you may have some gum disease.  Your dentist can help you with both problems and instruct you on how to properly brush and floss in the future to prevent it from getting worse.
