my son was treated for a couple different infections,  and just finished his antibiotics tuesday.  he now has spiked a fever and is nauseous?

New issue=new eval: A kid with a new issue needs to be looked at as if they started over. This may or may not be related to the prior illness. Most kids have a number of viral infections every year and these are not related to or prevented by prior antibiotic use. If the kid maintains his normal activity level &amp; feeding pattern you can monitor it for a while. If he acts sickly it is time for a visit.

i had labcorp's covid antibody test (shown as sars-cov-2 spike ab dilution on the report). the result was 12,895 u/ml. no one i know has had a result over 1000. what does this mean? are there different tests or methods of reporting results?

: It means you either have been infected with COVID or vaccinated, or both, and have had a strong immune response. The higher number suggests you might have been vaccinated or infected fairly recently, but otherwise makes no difference.

Symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, blurry vision, are some indications to go to the nearest ER instead of waiting for an appointment at your doctor’s office.

Look at requirements: Us medical schools all publish (on their websites) the requirements for admission.  Meet or exceed those requirements through your university or a us university and take the necessary test (mcat) prior to applying.  Be aware, however, that us medical school admissions is extremely competitive.
