Continue-good 4 you!: Not only is biotin perfectly safe to take in pregnancy, it is common;y deficient & may prevent birth defects. It is also likely to prevent elevated blood sugar (gestational diabetes).

Caution re: MSM: Biotin is perfectly safe & may help balance your blood sugars. I would be cautious about msm. Like most substances, its safety has not been studied during pregnancy. While not inherently toxic, msm helps our bodies to detoxify & it may be unwise to expose your baby to the toxins it stirs up. Best to err on the side of caution and avoid it for now. See

Vitamin B 7: According to a number of sources, when used orally in doses of up to 10 mg per day, biotin (or vitamin b7) does not cause side effects. Biotin helps to metabolize fat, carbs  ; proteins.

No, unless . . .: We get all the biotin we need in the normal diet. Any touted benefits of additional biotin are not well-proven.  If a person was so profoundly malnourished as to be low in biotin, then feritlity is decreased, but just fixing the biotin deficiency, in that case, would not alone restore fertility. Biotin supplements can cause some SERIOUS constipation in some folks (like moi!)

Not really: Just take a moderate dose 1000mcg a day is much more than enough and is still very safe. It is even safe at higher doses, but i don't think you'll get a benefit.

Much over the: 100% US RDA has never been shown to do anything. Keratin is a not very good protein similar to gelatin and mucilage.
A regular (Hallal) diet low in alcohol and sweets (diabetes is SKY HIGH IN EGYPT) with a one a day vitamin is hard to improve upon.

OK: But not necessary.  Biotin deficiency is very rare. A big waste of money. Just eat a regular diet.
