No, not related: Eating an animal's placenta, or any other part of an animal, does not have a predictable effect on a woman's body. Chemicals, hormones, and nutrients in food (whether in a capsule or on a dinner plate), are digested in the woman's stomach. If a woman ate large amounts of one animal organ, then problems can develop. If hormones are needed, fertility doctors can prescribe high quality exact amounts.

No?: I've never heard of this as a treatment for anything.  If you have research to the contrary, i'd love to see it.

Accepted Answer

Not recommended: your stomach breaks down all proteins into basic amino acids and its hard to ascertain the benefits of eating placenta but it does expose you to pathogens 
i would not recommend it although a small percentage of people do partake in this tradition

Normal placenta: Placentas do not begin their development normally until 10 or more weeks gestation as the corpus luteum of the ovary provides all the needed progesterone to sustain the developing fetus through the first trimester.

ultrasound tech report: twin as placenta is anterior with a portion that appears to wrap posterior along the lateral aspect of the uterus. there is also a small amount of blood clot overlying the cervix does this mean im going to lose my babies?

: With location of "twin A's placenta" showing a portion overlying the cervical canal, it is common for bleeding to occur (producing a clot "overlying the cervix").  Uterine contractions can separate a portion of the placenta, causing the "clot", but the placenta has suitable reserve.  See your OB and get a referral to a MFM OB MD.

i went to the gynae and my baby is due for the 19 of march but now the dr advises that i give birth earlier around the 19th due to fluid around the placenta being around 4cm and the babies waist also just within the range. bt i want the date of da 19?

: The health of your baby and you are more important than the date of the birth. It is vital for you to follow your OB Dr's advice and treatment plan in order to avoid stillbirth and other devastating outcomes. If your pregnancy is greater than 37 weeks it is considered full term and safe to deliver.

Yes: Did the babies die in utero and the labor follows? Even though it was a monochorionic monoamniotic pregnancy (same sac, one placenta), miscarriage of a viable pregnancy is uncommon. This type of pregnancy is at increase risk for intrauterine fetal death not miscarriage at 18 weeks. Usually, Steroids are administered early for fetal lung maturity and delivery by C-section at about 32 weeks.

No : Bending over has nothing to do with both of the situations ,but I will advise you avoid bending too much in pregnancy just to make sure you donot get any back nerve pinching or back pain problems
