Maybe carpal tunnel: Since ALS can cause rather significant muscle atrophy and weakness, especially in the hands, an instability on holding arms upright might occur, and cause shaking.  However, other causes of tremor might be considered, such as medication rxtns.

30yo male.int vib/mus twitches all over a year ago.went away with lexapro. still have constant shaky hands.doc says anxiety. should i worry als/ms?

No : Anxiety is a possibility. MS and ALS do not present with "shaky hands" and do not resolve with Lexapro. If you seek another opinion, see a neurologist.

Tremor: The commonest tremor is the intention tremor that only occurs when you are using your hands to write or drink coffee for example. Unlike Parkinson's disease tremor which is present when the hands are at rest. The intention tremor commonly runs in families. There are medications to treat intention tremors. A neurologist can evaluate and advise you best.

i have bouts of rapid heart rate, shaky hands, nervousness, & a feeling of internal trembling through my chest, back/abdomen, & random chest/side pai?

Get checked out: Although a 26 yo woman is unlikely to have life threatening cardiac issues your symptoms are certainly nothing to take lightly. See you health care professional and get checked out. You may have an easily treatable arrhythmia that is curable.

twitch down the pinky side of my left hand. happens many times a day. maybe some random muscle twitches in different places but no other symptoms. could this be an early sign if als?

: NO, seriously doubt you possess any motor neuron disease, and specifically NOT ALS!  Your left hand could have a focal problem with the ulnar nerve and an EMG study could objectify this.

hello. i am a 38 yo healthy woman. sometimes my left hand will randmly constrict/spasm.i am-right handed so don't use my left very often.i read where als can cause this symptom.no als in my family, no other symptoms.would als cause other symptoms?

Hand spasms: There are many possible reasons for spasms and ALS is very low down on the list.  Please see your doctor.  Peace and good health.

No: Hand/foot cramps often have no clear cause. Though certain neurologic diseases can present that way, it is not typical. More common causes that you could test without seeing a doctor are dehydration or not getting enough calcium, magnesium, or vitamin d in your diet. Try drinking more water and taking a multivitamin daily for a month. If still a problem, see a doctor for thyroid testing, etc.

I doubt it: Is ALS.  If you are having constant cramps in your hands I would suggest evaluation by a doctor.

right arm, hand and right foot feel tight and heavy. no real weakness. random muscles twitches throughout body. tongue also feels too big for mouth and feels like its in the way when talking. i have very bad health anxiety. could this be early als?

: Before attributing symptoms to health anxiety, I recommend an  evaluation by a neurologist to exclude a neurological disorder such as Parkinson's disease, for example. This will also give you peace of mind.

left arm feels weird alot.  both my hands feel weird like my motor skills are off when i am doing simple activities.  been studding alot. pls not als?

ALS unlikely: Since common things happen commonly, the most likely diagnosis is median or ulnar nerve compression in the arms from all that arm bending or pressure used in studying. You are young, but we do not know your health history, or prior medical issues. Your doctor can examine you, order testing, and make a correct diagnosis for this problem.
